On Saturday, the 4th of April, I did a senior photo shoot with Haley, a gracious young lady. We had a great time running around Falls Park in Downtown Greenville, SC. She will be graduating in less than a month. I used to worry about the younger generation, but after spending time with her and other young people lately, I now have a lot of hope for them and all of us.
We met early that morning and started capturing captivating and beautiful images within minutes of me getting my gear ready. I use a reflector quite a bit to add a golden hue to the client on clear blue sky days. I have multiple flashes, but I do prefer the reflector. The only downside is that clients that have sensitive eyes have trouble not squinting at the bright light being reflected. I spent a bit more time with her than I normally would, but after all, she is my little sister.
I am so proud of her going off to college and entering the big world. When I think back to my own youth, I had no clue as to what the world had in store for me. If I knew then what I know now, life would have been a lot different. But, where would the adventure be in that?
Do me a wee favor, and wish Haley well on her Journey. She is a brilliant and beautiful young woman. And, I'm not just saying that because she is my sister.
