I’ve walked past this new construction site early in the morn on several occasions. For some reason it only captured my attention this evening, as I walked by its massive steel columns.

Busy Bee’s

Yesterday, I met some friendly bees while bumbling through the flower beds in Falls Park. They were very photogenic. I didn’t have my telephoto/macro lens, so I had to get really..really close!

Craggy Wall

Mr. Iced Coffee put up a picture of a brick wall that I really digged the other day, so I went out on a mission yesterday to find the craggiest brick wall I could find. I casually searched for a wee bit and accidently fell upon this excellent wall. It’s a really cool wall, because part of it is exposed brick while the rest is stuccoed.

Southern Breakfast

Being that I’m about to leave Southern American society for six months or more, I thought I’d share what most folks in this area eat for breakfast. I’m more partial to fruit for breakfast, or when I really want to beef up, I’ll have an Irish Breakfast. On the left side of the plate you’ll see two eggs over medium. In the middle is three crispy slices of bacon. And, on the right side is something that most people outside of the south have ever tried. It is buttered grits, which is in essence, corn.
